Hotel | Only 30 minutes from Alta city centre, between the arctic tundra and the arctic sea you will find the small intimate Gargia Lodge, close to nature, as the perfect place to start your arctic adventure.
We offer pick up and drop off at Alta Airport or any other location downtown. The lodge is an ideal location to see the Northern lights, being in a remote are a with no light pollution or traffic.
The Lodge is surrounded by forest and several hiking trails, that can be explored on snow shoes, by skis or simply by foot. Approx 2 km from the lodge you will find a frozen waterfall and a 4 km hike will bring you up on the mountain plateau. There is a good chance to see Moose, Fox and other wildlife in the area around the lodge.
We offer guided snowmobile and dogsledding tours starting from the lodge and Northern Light chase for small groups.
